Greetings from San Francisco! Arisant’s Oracle OpenWorld Recap

New Year, New Booth

This year, Arisant decided it was time to step up and opt-in for a new, bigger booth. The past five years, we have crammed ourselves into a 10 foot by 10 foot sardine can of a booth. This year, we decided enough was enough and designed an all new 10 foot by 20 foot booth. A new booth meant new messaging. After a lot of discussion, we decided that simple is better and went with “Migrate. Cloud. Done.” This messaging was simple yet effective as it quickly told people what we do (cloud migrations to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) without needing a list of bullet points, handouts, or gimmicks.

Marketing Swag that you Actually Want

At this year’s show, we decided to ditch cheap marketing swag (that ends up in the trash) and instead gave out awesome t shirts that people would wear! We designed two new shirts, “The Cloud is Calling and I must Go” and “#freemydata” to give away to those willing to listen to our short presentation explaining how easy Arisant makes it to migrate to the cloud. Six presentations a day and 350 shirts later, we were out of marketing swag. **We also had the best shirts at the conference**

Customer Appreciation Happy Hour

As an added bonus, Arisant invited its customers to Oracle OpenWorld. Any customer who made it to the show was invited to a Customer Appreciation Happy Hour at the Thirsty Bear, an Organic Brewery blocks from the Moscone convention center in San Francisco. We had a great turn out for this years event, where people were able to mix and mingle as well as play bar games like darts and billiards. below are some highlights from the event.
